CAMPUS COORDINATOR PROGRAM

 


Campus Co-ordinatorThe Centre for Civil Society (CCS) is an independent, non-profit, research and educational organization devoted to improving the quality of life for all citizens of India by reviving and reinvigorating civil society. We research on innovative community and market based ideas for critical public policy issues facing India today, particularly in areas of Education, Livelihood, Governance and Environment. We invite enthusiastic and motivated students with strong interpersonal skills, who would like to be the focal contact person between their peers and administration of university campuses in Delhi and CCS for the year 2011-2012.

We offer challenging opportunities to build your leadership, communication and project management skills. Successful Campus Coordinators will be recommended to various National and International programs organised by CCS and its partners.

Centre for Civil Society considers all applicants on merits without regard to race, national origin, religious beliefs, gender, marital status or physical disability.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an ambassador for CCS
  • Identify programs on your campus in which it is beneficial for CCS to participate.
  • Develop strategic link with student bodies and placement departments to promote CCS’s visibility and opportunities on campus.
  • Identify indivuals who would like to participate and volunteer for CCS programs.

Eligiblity:

  • Must be a college student of Delhi.
  • Students currently in the 2nd and 3rd year will be preffered.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Involved in co-circular activities and have good leadership skills.

Anushka Siddiqui

AnushkaAnushka Siddiqui is currently studying Economics honors at LSR Delhi University. Her all time favourite books include To Kill A Mocking Bird and the Harry Potter series.  She believes that the youth can be great change makers. She is an active member of the debating society and one of her all time favourite quotes is,’ Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.’


Mehak Malik

Mehak MalikMehak Malik  is currently pursuing Economic Honors at Hansraj College , Delhi University.  She is a very simple person who loves to live life to the fullest. She loves taking part in deliberations and discussions as they are the first step in the development of a society. She believes in the policy of “Live and let live”. She loves helping others and looks forward to philanthropy whenever she gets a good opportunity.


Snigdha Verma

Snigdha VermaSnigdha Verma is currently pursuing Journalism Honors in Kalindi College, Delhi University.  She is a true Sagittarian with a will to experiment with new things. She sees herself as an unconventional person and believes in spreading positive energy. As an individual she is an extrovert, likes reading books, nature lover and likes travelling. She is passionate about meeting new people and has a keen interest in documentaries and movies. A liberal in her thoughts, she also enjoys debating.
