Summer Research Internship Program

The final results of the CCS Summer Research Internship program 2005

The present list is for only those candidates who have applied for the months of May-July. Those who have applied for the months of June and later will be sent separate notifications.

All selected candidates will be sent confirmation emails. Those who confirm themselves for the Summer Internship Program will be provided the internship contract. On submission of the contract, the candidates will be provided the orientation material.

The Centre for Civil Society thanks all the shortlisted applicants for their cooperation through the selection process. The objective of the selection process was to select candidates from the 172 applicants who could contribute a publishable research paper by the end of their internship tenure. The selection parameters were based on factors of sustained enthusiasm for field research; clarity and rigor of thought; attention to details and communication skills. The interview panel consisted of two Research Associates and two ex interns of the Summer Internship Program.

We congratulate the final list candidates. The Centre for Civil Society is a place where you can learn tremendously and ignite your imagination and help change the world. For the others who have not made it, the Summer Internship program is extremely competitive and it is difficult to accommodate all. Do not worry for you can apply for the next year as well. We also have a host of other opportunities for you.
