Ranchi FOF after successful celebration of Freedom Fest organised a Documentary Screening Program on 9th Jan in St. Xavier's College Ranchi which 79 students from different faculty participated. Zarina, Turf Wars, Madhu Kishwar's documentaries on farmers, vendors & rickshaw pullers were shown. After each Documentary Shishir (Media Coordinator) conducted discussions. The screening programme was very much appreciated by the faculty members. As a result of that they gave 1 hr slot to FoF in film festival at college for the screening of Zarina in that festival. They also have invited FoF to screen some documentaries in the festival to be organised in coming March.

We also had 2 group discussions on the following issues.

1) Joint family vs Nuclear family (January 20)

2) Displacement of tribals from their Jungles

Coming March is going to be the most active month for FOF Ranchi with a big list of Public as well exclusive events.
